The Influences of Polydimethyldiallylammonium Chloride with Series Intrinsic Viscosity on Chemical Species Distribution of Aluminum in PAC
A series of composite coagulants with the ratios(m/m) of PAC to PDM of 20:1, 10:1, 5:1 were prepared by using polyaluminum chloride(PAC) with basicity of 52%, 75% and 88%, and polydimethyldiallylammonium chloride(PDM)with intrinsic viscosity of 0.87, 1.66, 2.88, 3.79dL/g as raw materials．The chemical species distribution of aluminum in PAC solution and composite coagulants were investigated by Al-Ferron complexation timed spectrophotometry. The results showed that with the Ferron experiment RSD of 1%～3%, the species distribution of Aluminum hardly changed in composite coagulants with the increase of PDM intrinsic viscosity. With the decrease of ratios of PAC to PDM, the A1b content decrease slightly and A1c content increase slightly. The variation of species distribution of aluminum was influenced by the basicity of PAC obviously.
